The Prince of Egypt is a beautiful movie created to retell the classic story of the book of Exodus where a young man named Moses is commissioned by God to deliver His people from the oppressive rule of the Egyptian king Pharao. The powerful music of this film is written by Stephen Schwartz and Hans Zimmer, two icons in the art of telling stories through music and lyrics. My goal is to harness the spiritual significance of these songs to speak to particular realities that are currently happening in our world, and the ones to come.

The Prince of Egypt series will be a group of projects dedicated to ideas separate from the literal Prince of Egypt narrative. The goal is not to retell the story of the movie, but to apply the heart of each song to a Biblical truth relevant to realities we deal with today. The projects are intended to stand alone in their message and are not inherently tied to each other in terms of their order or story arc.
